Nomad People Festival

Mazandaran\Sari\ December 2nd – 6th  

Level: National

The National Festival of Nomadic Tribes will be held with the presence of more than half of the provinces in the exhibition center of Sari city. This festival in held the exhibition section with more than 100 booths with the presence of artists specializing in handicrafts, pottery, handicrafts and felt from Mazandaran province; in the music section of the ritual group from Lorestan, Mazandaran, East Azerbaijan, Khuzestan and North Khorasan provinces. The culture and art of the nomadic tribes of Iran will be an important opportunity for the presence of foreign and domestic tourists in these occasions.

Global Registration of Ziloo

Yazd/ Meybod/ Early December         

Level: National

The anniversary of the registration of Ziloo (ground cloth) made in Meybod will be held at the World Council of Handicrafts in the presence of authorities and the handicraft artists, in order to honor the old Zilubaf artists and create a thriving market for Ziloo in the historical caravanserai complex of this city. The World Handicrafts Council, announce Meybod as the world city of Ziloo in 2018.

Desert Tourism National Festival

South Khorasan\ Tabas\ Early December

The National Desert Tourism Festival is held in Tabas, with the aim of introducing deprivations, marketing and developing the tourism and ecotourism industry in desert areas. Camel riding, desert riding in the quicksand hills of Halvan Tabas village, field routing workshop, sky observation and familiarity with desert ecosystem and hiking in semi-warm waters will be among the programs of this festival. Visiting the spectacular valley of Morteza Ali Spa, holding desert training workshops and nature tourism principles, visiting the historical castle of the beautiful village of Khoro, Golshan Garden in Tabas, a show and a desert safari workshop with 2WD cars will be among the other programs of this festival. Introducing the attractions of desert texture, history of desert anthropology, wildlife and desert plants, promoting desert sports in local communities, promoting environmental culture among people and desert dwellers in order to preserve and protect natural areas and desert attractions are among other goals of this festival.

Handicrafts Exhibition of South Khorasan

South Khorasan\ Birjand International Exhibition Center\ Early December

The national handicrafts exhibition will be held in Birjand with the participation of 31 provinces. 150 booths are planned for this exhibition, which will be displayed in 80 booths of handicrafts of South Khorasan, from native and advantageous fields of handicrafts, including traditional textiles, stone cutting and carpet weaving.

Fishing Festival

The festival of fishing and beach dwellers is held in order to introduce more coastal and marine attractions of Mokran beaches in recent years in Mokran beaches. In this festival, seven coastal provinces of the country will introduce the attractions of cultural heritage, tourism and handicrafts and the customs of their coastal residents. The beach dwellers festival will be held at the Baharan Chabahar Beach Park as well as in a venue in Chabahar Free Zone, which will be open to the public. The provinces of Mazandaran, Khuzestan, Bushehr, Hormozgan, Sistan and Baloochestan and Golestan will participate in this festival, and the provinces of Yazd, Kerman and South Khorasan will attend due to their proximity to Sistan and Baloochestan with the aim of introducing the province's tourist attractions.

Cultural Nights of Sistan and Baloochestan

Sistsn & baloochestan \ Kerman\ Early December

Cultural tourism nights of Sistan and Baloochestan will be held for two days with the presence of artists and authorities of this province with the aim of developing domestic tourism between this province and Kerman province. Sistani sword dance and Sistan Rabab music, handicrafts and local food will be among the programs of the artists of this city. Sistani sword dance is one of the most original dances in the culture of this city, and Rabab music is an old instrument that originates from the Islamic period Khorasan, Sistan and Baloochestan and Afghanistan, this instrument with the name of Rabab is more than a thousand years old and its Persian name is Ravadeh.

Golriz Woodcarving National Registration

The big celebration of choosing Tuyserkan as the national city of "Golriz Inlay" is held with the aim of creating an opportunity for exploitation of this art in order to help developing the local community. In this ceremony, in addition to introducing inlaid art to enthusiasts and investors, tourist attractions and other handicrafts of the province will also be introduced and exhibited.

ECO Tourism Symposium

The General Directorate of Heritage of Khorasan Razavi Province will participate in the symposium on tourism opportunities of ECO member countries in order to introduce the province's tourist attractions and investment opportunities in this province in the field of tourism, hotel management, etc. Symposium on Tourism Investment Opportunities of ECO member countries as a specialized event in the field of tourism investment in cooperation with the Deputy Minister of Investment of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts and attended by senior managers and activists of tourism and tourism industry and a pavilion of ECO member countries will be held in Kish Island.
