Daffodil Festival

Level: National

Daffodil flower festival will be held in the presence of a group of provincial and local officials as well as a number of specific provinces in Behbahan city along with the presentation of eight thousand daffodils to Astan Quds Razavi. On the sidelines of the festival, a handicrafts exhibition, scientific and specialized sessions and meetings about the flower, a workshop and ritual programs will be held.

Cultural Nights of Sistan and Baloochestan

Cultural nights of Sistan and Baloochestan with the national slogan of “Iran for Sistan and Baloochestan”, is going to be introduced to the people with the aim of introducing this province as a lesser-known destination. Increasing interactions with neighboring provinces will introduce more of Sistan and Baloochestan province and increase travel demand in the province. The more investment is made in fast and cheap access to Sistan and Baloochestan, the more we will benefit from the presence of tourists from different origins and the smoother the development path of the province. During the cultural weeks, all the customs, traditions, civilization and historical and cultural points of Sistan and Baloochestan are introduced to the neighboring provinces and all the country, so that this province is introduced as a touristic province. In January of this year, this event will be held in the provinces of South Khorasan and Golestan.

Iranian Sofreh (Table) Festival

The opening ceremony of the Iranian Sofreh (Tablecloth) Festival will be held in the historical monument of Moayedi Yakhodan (traditional fridge) in Kerman. The purpose of holding the Iranian Table Festival is to introduce the traditional food of three provinces of Kerman, Yazd and Sistan and Baloochestan

Celebration of Selecting Lalejin City as the Global City of Pottery

The ceremony will be held at the entrance of Lalejin city with the presence of officials and artists. The most important factor for gaining the title of Lalejin globalization is the 700-year history of pottery in this city. Laljin won the title of global city of pottery after being visited and evaluated by UNESCO judges.

Cultural Nights of Kermanshah

Kermanshah Cultural Nights will be held in Tehran, Kish and Qeshm this winter with the aim of introducing traditional and indigenous customs and arts and historical and cultural attractions. The purpose of holding this festival is to introduce the unknown capacities of the province in the field of tourism. Also, setting up a black tent, presenting souvenirs, handicrafts and local food products to the interested parties are among the programs of this festival.

Sadeh Festival

The ritual of Sadeh is one of the oldest known ceremonies in ancient Iran. On the 10th of Bahman, every year which is known among Zoroastrians as "Mehr Day of the month of benevolence" is held in Taft city (Yazd province) and Kerman city (Kerman province) with the presence of the followers of this religion. In this ritual, Zoroastrians gather as a sign of gratitude for God-given blessings, a hundred days after the great winter, and hold their special ceremony around a mountain of firewood, and after performing the Gahanbar recitation ceremony, when the sun gradually sets, lighting the firewood and praying. Daf playing, playing Sorena and Dohol are other programs of this ceremony.

National Handicrafts Exhibition

31 Provinces\ Tehran Central Exhibition Center\ January 31st to February 10th

The National Exhibition of Handicrafts (Eidaneh) will be held at the permanent location of Tehran International Exhibition Center. Artists from 31 provinces of the country will present their traditional arts and handicrafts to those who are interested. Live performance of handicraft products, setting up black nomadic tents and introducing the life of Iranian tribes, performance of local music, etc. are among the side programs of the 32nd National Handicrafts Exhibition.
